Class 6 license
This license holder can operate the motorcycles and any vehicles of class 9.

Class 7 license
This license holder can operate the vehicles of the license holder of class 5 except class 9 vehicles.
This license type has two levels.
Class 8 license
- This is also called a farm tractor license, can drive the farm tractor only.
Class 9 license
- This license holder can operate the farm tractor and motor-driven vehicle. This license can be acquired with at minimum of 14 age.
What is a Class 9 license in NB?
A Class 9 license is a type of motor vehicle license used in New Brunswick, Canada. A Class 9 license allows the holder to drive a farm tractor or a motor-driven cycle - which is not the same thing as an ordinary motorcycle.
NB drivers practice test: What are the criteria to get New Brunswick Class 9 driving license?
The basic requirement is you must be 14 years of age. The class 9 license is the first license that allows you to drive on the road on your own. To drive a motorcycle, you must have a class 9 license. To get a class 9 license, you need to meet the following requirements:
You must be at least 14 years of age (1 year as a probationary driver).
You must have held an instruction permit for a minimum of 6 months.
You must have had no convictions for traffic violations and no demerit points during the 6-month period as an instruction permit holder.
If you are under 18 years of age, you must have parent or guardian consent in writing to hold a license and be qualified to take the knowledge test and road test.
You must pass a vision test, knowledge test (basic signs), and written and supplementary tests (1/2 hour).
You must pass a road test on your own on a mechanically fit motorcycle at least 90 CC with manual transmission which is fitted with adequate protective headgear (DOT approved helmet) and eye protection (goggles) and gloves (leather or equivalent).
